As the source of the Electronic Postmark® in the United States the U.S. Postal Service provides the enforcement critical to success in the trusted email market. The United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) is the arm of the U.S. Postal Service that enforces Postal law and protects Postal services and trademarks. Working with Epostmarks, this organization will help ensure that USPS trademarks are used only by approved email senders. The USPIS has the authority to prosecute those who use USPS marks illegally or otherwise attempt to use the USPS EPM system for malicious purposes.

Direct Marketing Association (DMA)
